Open Letter To Cam Newton, By Brian Engelman.

AN OPEN LETTER TO CAM NEWTON 02/01/16
By: Brian Engelman
You recently stated: “I’m an African-American quarterback that may scare a lot of people because they haven’t seen nothing they can compare me to,”
Maybe I missed the context here, but it kind of sounds like you are saying that people who don’t like you, feel that way because you are black. You do realize that football fans like me grew up watching Warren Moon, Randall Cunningham, Doug Williams, Michael Vick and other black quarterbacks as commonplace. Hell, because of the laundry that I cheer for, I even rooted for Browns QB Spergon Wynn!
You’ve been dancing &“dabbing” all season, & some people are tired of the Superman poses & the flashy antics. Big deal. I don’t understand what made you want to bring race into the equation? People get annoyed with showboats, whether that player is named Terrell Owens, or Johnny Manziel. I don’t get how skin pigment has anything to do with it. (Although Johnny Manziel was drafted by the “Browns” and that is technically a color,…so maybe it does matter after all.) Insert Dan Gilbert “Comic Sans” font for sarcasm.
By the way, Manziel had a target on him from the first time he stepped on the field. Other teams relished the opportunity to get a hit, or a sack on Johnny Freaking Football,…if only to taunt him right back with his stupid “money sign” gesture. They did it because the kid was acting like a bulletproof punk. Ohh, speaking of Johnny, recently LeBron James and his management team finally cut ties with Manziel. Would you also assume that race has something to do with that decision, or could it be that everyone is just finally sick of Manziel’s crap?
America can sometimes love cocky showboating from athletes, some people hate watching it, & sometimes we don’t care either way. I don’t care either way. At least I didn’t care until you strangely played the race card.
As a funny side note, I even drafted you to start in one of my fantasy football leagues this year. I’ve been rooting for you all season. I didn’t care about your race or your antics, I only cared about the points you put up to help my team win. Congrats by the way on building a strong case as this year’s NFL MVP.
However, I read your quote, I did a double take, I thought about it for a few days, and I wanted to let you know that I am quite used to watching & rooting for talented black quarterbacks. As an Ohio State fan I’ve cheered for Troy Smith, Braxton Miller, Cardale Jones, J.T. Barrett & others over the years. Pro tip: You have a few former Buckeyes on your team. Just ask them. I’ve just never seen a sports world without successful black quarterbacks, and neither have you,….so I don’t understand why you wanted to make this a big deal. It’s not about race,…it’s about class. It’s the matchup of Humility vs. Narcissism.
It’s not rocket science,…and it’s also not racist. It’s common sense.
Some people just prefer more Barry Sanders, & less Dion Sanders.
Good luck in the game.

– Michael Sam comes out as gay before the NFL draft,
– The NFL is considering banning “the N word” & Richard Sherman’s reaction,
– What did Larry Doby & Jackie Robinson have to endure as they broke the MLB color barriers in both the American & National leagues?

– Was Jeremy Lin overrated because he was Asian, or was he a sensation because he was playing incredible basketball?
– What was that obnoxious fan screaming at Marcus Smart that led to “the shove”,

Plus,

– After reports surfaced where Joakim Noah lobbied Carmelo Anthony to join Chicago, what kind of impact does it have when players plot behind the scenes, & what are the chances that Carmelo Lands in Chi town?
– Can the Cavs make the playoffs?
– Will Phil Jackson join the Knicks?
– Will the NBA adopt a 4 point shot?
– Will the NFL adopt a 42 yard extra point attempt,

“Agree To Disagree” host Brian Engelman once again welcomes special guest Blake Walley.

Brian & Blake discuss:
– The State Of The Union speech that really sounded a lot like all of his other SOTU teleprompter scripts.
– Should the NFL continue to receive tax exempt status on their 9.5 billion dollar enterprise?
– Will there be any movement on a reasonable fix to the illegal immigration problem?
– Why doesn’t snow melt when burned with a lighter?
– Can’t we all just move past playing the race card & get along?
– Jon Stewart laughs at Nancy Pelosi during an interview after an absurd “beltway” answer.
– Who are Brian & Blake rooting to win the Super Bowl, & who do they think will win?

Plus: Edward Snowden, non-GMO Cheerios, Ted Cruz, Amnesty, Ben Swann, Bush/Cheney, Justin Bieber, Nobel Peace Prize, Fukushima, Fracking, 1984, 4th Amendment, Barack Obama, Eric Holder, federal reserve, Impeachment & much, much more!

Al-Gore-Jazeera, Super Bowl, Bob Menendez Prostitution Accusatons, & More On “Agree To Disagree”

On this week’s “Agree To Disagree”, host Brian Engelman once again welcomes special guest co-host Blake “The Eccentric” Walley.

They highlight some of the most important stories over the past week that you may have missed in a segment with the working title of “Top News Story Extravaganza”!

Among the many topics discussed, they talk about:
– The horrible killing & abduction in Alabama & how some people are quick to paint any “prepper” as a potential monster if it fits their narrow minded “sheeple” narrative. (The same concept employed by those attempting to infringe upon the 2nd Amendment by using the excuse that “because a couple of madmen did horrible things, everyone else should lose their rights”. Very important to point out the methods used by the opponents of liberty & freedom.
– The federal reserve
– Active shooters & crisis actors
– New Orleans restaurants banning Roger Goodell from dining because of the “BountyGate” scandal that ruined the Saints season
– 49ers “gay” comments, homophobia in pro sports, & a Ravens player pushing for marriage equality
– 4th Amendment grievances about illegal search, surveillance, & seizure
– Bloomberg
– AR-15’s “Assault Weapon” should be banned, (say some in the Gov’t), but DHS can purchase 7,000 of the same weapon & call it a “Personal Defense” weapon.
– GDP negative movement in the U.S. economy
– Zero tolerance for a child with a pink Hello Kitty bubble gun, a kid who build a gun from lego blocks, a deaf kid named Hunter being told to change his sign language name because his thumb & pointer finger “gun” is threatening, and the kid handcuffed because of a $5 bill. Where is the common sense in teaching America’s children???
– Bob Menendez, U.S. (d) Senator from New Jersey, has been accused of multiple and specific underage prostitution acts that could land the Senator in jail. We do not rush to judgment on the situation until the facts come out, but there appears to be specific & perhaps credible information on this story & we will follow it until we get an answer.
– DHS has a new strategy in case you should find yourself in an “active shooter” situation. Some of their top brilliant ideas include running, hiding, or grabbing some scissors. The New American Media recommends that you instantly grab your conceal carry weapon (2nd amendment shall not be infringed), then call 911 if possible. The public must always be able to defend themselves in any location or situation.
– Obamacare’s cheapest plan is estimated to cost $20,000 for a family of 5.
– An e-mail hack has shed light on a possible False Flag operation in Syria regarding chemical weapons & Bashar Al-Assad. Global politics (or the global game of RISK) can be a shady business indeed, but if the People of the planet truly are sick & tired of the constant Orwellian military conflicts, the People must be able to process correct information about what is, & what has been causing all of this conflict in the first place. Very interesting story.
– Al Gore sells Current TV to Al-Jazeera. It doesn’t get much better than the multiple levels of hypocrisy in this story. It would take too long to type,…just listen.
– MSNBC doctors/edits another tape to push a left wing narrative. MSNBC also edited the George Zimmerman recording to make it sound like Zimmerman was saying & implying things that he was not. The New American Media take the position that this type of garbage needs to stop. If you need to lie & manipulate people into siding with your argument,…perhaps you need to make a better argument!
– Plus, the Dow Jones tops 14,000. Should you be happy, or bracing for impact?
