Print Media Dead At 1,803

NEW YORK—Sources close to print, the method of applying ink to paper in order to convey information to a mass audience, have confirmed that the declining medium passed away early Thursday morning.

The influential means of communication was 1,803.

Print, which had for nearly two millennia worked tirelessly to spread knowledge around the globe in the form of books, newspapers, magazines, pamphlets, and numerous other textual materials, reportedly succumbed to its long battle with ill health, leaving behind legions of readers who had for years benefited from the dissemination of ideas made possible by the advent of printed materials.

Cleveland Kidnapper Ariel Castro Gets Life + 1,000 Yrs & Eric Holder Won’t Torture Or Kill Snowden

“Agree To Disagree” host Brian Engelman once again welcomes special guest Blake Walley.

They discuss:

– Cleveland kidnapper Ariel Castro was sentenced today to life in prison without the possibility of parole plus 1,000 years, but should he have faced the death penalty?

– Eric Holder “assures” Russia that Edward Snowden will not face torture or the death penalty if he is returned to the United States to face charges. Brian & Blake wonder why this man should face any charges for alerting the American people that blatant 4th amendment violating abuses are taking place on a daily basis by the NSA & the Obama administration.

– Is there a war on journalism regarding Michael Hastings, Andrew Breitbart, Cheryl Atkinson, Glen Greenwald, & James Rosen & if so, what does this mean for the future of anonymous sources for journalists & free speech in general?

– Dan Johnson of P.A.N.D.A., Stuart Rhodes of Oath Keepers, Luke Rudkowski of We Are Change have all allegedly been attacked in a child porn “set up” & Brian & Blake wonder how easy it would be to frame political dissenters in a digital age?

– Plus Barack Obama refers to his IRS, NSA, Benghazi, Fast & Furious scandals as “phony”. Can he really expect the American people to buy this line? How about the phony youtube video story to explain away Benghazi?

– Chris Christie attacks libertarians & Rand Paul & Paul fires back.

– Justin Amash’s bill to defund the NSA is narrowly defeated,

U.S.: We Promise Not to Torture, Kill Edward Snowden

America’s top prosecutor has promised Russian officials that the U.S. would not torture Edward Snowden, nor would it seek the death penalty for the former National Security Agency contractor should he be handed over to U.S. custody.

“We… understand from press reports that Mr. Snowden has filed papers seeking temporary asylum in Russia on the grounds that if he were returned to the United States, he would be tortured and would face the death penalty,” Attorney General Eric Holder wrote in a letter to his Russian counterparts today. “These claims are entirely without merit.”

Chris Christie Attacks Libertarians & Rand Paul As Dangerous

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is ripping libertarians — including Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) — for challenging government surveillance programs and failing to understand the dangers of terrorism.

“This strain of libertarianism that’s going through parties right now and making big headlines I think is a very dangerous thought,” the New Jersey GOP governor said on Thursday at a Republican governors forum in Aspen, Colo. “You can name any number of people and (Paul is) one of them.”
