Why are some police officers so quick to jump to an unnecessary escalation of force?

– A man in New Mexico was given 3 enemas & a colonoscopy because police said he was acting “suspicious”, so he sues & wins 1.6 million in round one, with other plaintiffs yet to settle or lose their case. GOOD FOR HIM!
– Homeless man Kelly Thomas is beaten to death by the Fullerton, CA police, and the 2 police officers facing murder charges were found “not guilty”. Were the members of the jury afraid or intimidated into their verdicts?
– Adam Kokesh receives a suspended sentence & is now a free man again.
– Benghazi answers are still missing more than a year after the attack that killed 4 Americans.

We discuss the tragic case of Kelly Thomas, the mentally disabled homeless man beaten to death by police in Fullerton, CA, and examine the details of this horrific injustice, and attempt to make sense of how a jury could find the perpetrators of this crime “not guilty.” Before that, we talk about why it’s important to take risks and not be afraid of failure in life, and how this philosophy led us both to our respective projects.
