Whose Blood is on Whose Hands? The Eric Garner Decision Edition!

There has been quite the blame-game in New York following the execution of two Brooklyn police officers, but who is really at fault?

Mayor de Blasio? Sure, there are plenty of reasons to criticize him and his policies, and the city would probably be better off with someone else running it. But as far as the recent shootings were concerned… what could he realistically have done differently? Do you sincerely believe that the killings were caused by de Blasio’s so-called “climate of mistrust?”

Let’s think about it another way: Let’s pretend you are the Mayor of New York, and you have an opportunity to prevent the shootings from happening… except there’s a catch: you won’t have any idea of who, where, or when. All you know is that two cops will die in retaliation for the Garner verdict. So how would you stop the shooting? Make the police stay home? Prohibit protesting? Declare Martial Law? Put the whole city under lockdown? Or would an overreaction risk a far worse outcome? The point is, how could you possibly micro-manage that many moving parts in a city of 8 million people? Can we sincerely blame this all on the Mayor? Even if we really want to?

How about the supposed “black leaders” like Al Sharpton? He certainly plays a role in the overall problem…

Ben Swann On “The Roots Of Police Militarization”, Sony Hack & More W/ Host Brian Engelman.

Emmy Award Winning journalist Ben Swann joined host Brian Engelman on the “Agree To Disagree” radio show to discuss his recent project: “The Roots Of Police Militarization.”

Ben recently traveled to Ferguson, MO to cover the Mike Brown case for his new gig at RT.

Ben said that one of the main reasons Ferguson was so upset was because of the past 30 years of the “policing for profit” system that targets the residents finding crime in exchange for revenue. Ben breaks this all down with concrete examples of why the police have lost the support of their employers, “the people”.

Brian & Ben also discuss:
– Eric Garner
– MRAPS in Spokane, WA
– Russian politics
– The possibility of a Jeb Bush / Hillary Clinton 2016 presidential matchup, (Ben actually hopes this happens,…he’ll tell you why)
Plus:
The Sony “hack” raises many questions about the hypocrisy of the Obama administration in how they dealt with “The Innocence Of Muslims” video that they blamed for the Benghazi attacks, & how Obama criticized Sony for shelving “The Interview”.

Former Marine Warns of Terrifying Militarized Occupation of American Cities:

by: Paul Joseph Watson

Infowars

Former Marine Paul Szoldra warns that events in Ferguson, Missouri illustrate the “terrifying” result of the militarization of police, with the American people now being treated like insurgents in Afghanistan and Iraq.

In an article for Business Insider, Szoldra questions why police in Ferguson are wearing combat gear such as desert camouflage which is normally reserved for troops fighting in foreign war zones.

“We looked intimidating, but all of our vehicles and equipment had a clear purpose for combat against enemy forces. So why is this same gear being used on our city streets?” asks Szoldra, adding, “When did this become OK?”

The former Marine notes how police in Ferguson are armed with military-style rifles with scopes as well as body armor.

“Their uniform would be mistaken for a soldier’s if it weren’t for their “Police” patches,” writes Szoldra. “They wear green tops, and pants fashioned after the U.S. Marine Corps MARPAT camouflage pattern. And they stand in front of a massive armored truck called a Bearcat, similar in look to a mine-resistant ambush protected vehicle, or as the troops who rode in them call it, the MRAP.”

Szoldra cites conversations he had with other former military personnel who pointed out that some of the police in Ferguson are more heavily armed than U.S. troops in an “actual warzone.”

“When did “protect and serve” turn into “us versus them”? asks Szoldra, asserting that the sight of police in militarized combat gear is not helping the situation.

“In Afghanistan, we patrolled in big, armored trucks. We wore uniforms that conveyed the message, “We are a military force and we are in control right now.” Many Afghans saw us as occupiers. And now we see some of our police officers in this same way,” writes Szoldra, concluding, “If there’s one thing I learned in Afghanistan, it’s this: (article continues)

(Are You Prepared To Handle A Riot?) Ferguson Resident Justifies Burning Down of Gas Station as “Fighting Back” against the Police

by Kit Daniels

Infowars.com

A Ferguson, Missouri, resident justified the looting and arson of a QuikTrip gas station as an appropriate response to Saturday’s police shooting of a teenager.

DeAndre Smith, 30, said members of the community were “fighting back” against the police when they ransacked and torched the QuikTrip near West Florissant and Ferguson Avenue, which is now a heap of burnt debris and twisted steel, after a Ferguson police officer shot and killed teenager Mike Brown.

“This is exactly what’s supposed to happen when an injustice is happening in your community when you have kids getting killed for nothing, when they’re out here minding their own business doing nothing,” he told a St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter while pointing at the smoldering gas station behind him.

“You can lock them up, teach them, hold them but at the same time you ain’t got to kill them.”

Cop Trespasses To Kill Fenced In Dog! Brian Engelman & Blake Walley Cover Police Violence.

Do you “Agree” or “Disagree” that police militarization is threatening America?

“Agree To Disagree” host Brian Engelman once again welcomes special guest Blake Walley to cover the criminal trespass of a Utah police officer to enter a fenced in back yard to kill a man’s dog named Geist.

– Police aggression has been increasing over the past few years.
– Weapons of war are returning from the battlefield & given by DHS to local police forces.
– SWAT raids are up a shocking amount from just a decade ago.
– A flash / bang grenade was just tossed into a baby crib during a raid.
– The “shoot first, ask questions later” mentality of police should disturb all of us.
– Remember that Kelly Thomas was murdered by the Fullerton, CA police & it was caught on camera.
– We are in trouble if we allow police forces that increasingly ramp up aggression instead of “protecting” & “serving”, & calming situations down.
– Violence is, & always has been, for the weak.

Plus much more.

RNC Trades Ron Paul For “Empty Chair”! Dan Johnson of P.A.N.D.A. joins “Agree to Disagree”

Please leave your comments below.

The New American Media’s Brian Engelman once again welcomes Dan Johnson, founder of P.A.N.D.A. to discuss the RNC, PAUL-Fest, Ron Paul, NDAA, Liberty & more.

Ron Paul should have been guaranteed a speaking role at the RNC because he won a plurality of delegates from 5 states, but the RNC decided to cheat by changing the rules in the middle of the game to keep Ron Paul from speaking.

As an extra slap in the face to Ron Paul and his supporters, surprise speaker, Clint Eastwood actually brought in an empty chair to engage in a ten minute long conversation instead.

Ron Paul earned the right to speak, whether you agree with him or not.

Instead, the old guard, establishment/dinosaur Republicans traded Ron Paul’s speech for an empty chair symbolizing an empty conscience.
